Vacation Post: New England Houses

I’m in Maine for two weeks now, so while I’m gone, I’m going to be posting eye candy I’ve collected from other travels this year, like my 25th reunion at Smith College in May. Northampton, Mass., along with so many other quaint New England towns, has the prettiest houses—especially near a college campus where they contrast with 21st century architecture, like Smith’s student center:

It came as a collective shock to me and my best friends, as we decided to take a drive through Northampton’s neighborhoods, that we had never bothered to venture off campus while we were at school to see these cool houses, which have beautifully withstood the test of time. Enjoy!
