Oh, to have a pied-a-terre like this.
Eric Kole, co-owner of Vastu, and the store’s senior designer, Sarita Peresada, designed this second home in a two-story condo downtown, using the stunning Minishakes pendant as the springboard. Let’s take a tour of the place, which Kole and Peresada have (of course) populated with products from their store.

You can just see the chandelier hanging over the extendable Stellar dining table, which is surrounded by Athens chairs upholstered in Knoll tetiles. At right is the Stellar sideboard.
And in the living area beyond the dining table…

I'm loving the huge art on the wall. The jewels, of course, are the classic Knoll Eero Saarinen Womb chairs.
Kole and Peresada, responding to their clients’ desire for a great media room, decided to convert the space upstairs that was billed as the master bedroom, because it opens to a large terrace and has lots of windows. Because it’s a second home, they were cool with moving their bedroom to a smaller space instead.

The sleek lines of the furniture replicate those in the architecture. I'm diggin' that Barcelona chair, too.
The Minishakes chandy makes another appearance up here, just over the railing in what is now the media room.
And now, the bedroom:
Ok, I’m just a sucker for this light, so I’ll end where I began, with yet another view of it. Happy Friday!

Love it all…
Hiiiiiiii……. nice picture, talking also.
Good design. Loved how they carried the orange toned color scheme throughout the house.
