Spring cleaning is in the air, because I finally went through the huge box of press kits I collected last fall in High Point, which means those new lines are now in stores. There’s no real theme to any of this — just stuff I really like, starting with bursts of orange from Global Views:

Global Views furniture can be ordered through local retailers such as Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Theodores, and Random Harvest

Great mix of antique and modern styles, and the Arabesque rug in both photos is just, well, awesome.

Hands down, my new favorite secretary, called the French Key. Sorry, Thomas O'Brien, my heart is somewhere else now!
Let’s move along to Pierre Deux, which is next door to where I used to work in Tysons Corner — I guess it’s good I don’t have these temptations anymore!
My kids’ school is currently looking for planting pots for its garden … If only they could have these from Kwilty. (On second thought, I would probably just save this for myself!)
Now, here’s some great melamine from Working Class Studio, a division of SCAD — the Savannah College of Art and Design. Just in time for your outdoor meals. You can shop online, or find local retailers here.
For the prepsters out there, check out these new items from Annie Selke for Vanguard Furniture. Her fabrics and frames just make me happy. Vanguard can be ordered locally through And Beige, Decorium, Theodores, and Urban Country. You can find other local retailers here.
Here’s for my “dream” category — these exquisite lighting designs from husband-and-wife designers Stephane and Frouwkje Pagani for Baker Furniture.
Here’s from the press release:
The Paganis selected four mediums within which to express their Baker lighting designs: Italian Murano glass, cast bronze, French plaster and hand-sculpted marble.
“These four ancient mediums are rooted in history – coveted by craftsmen for centuries because of the lyrical qualities and natural beauty each possess,” said Frouwkje Pagani. “The luxurious noble materials nod to our past while the collection celebrates the contemporary design aesthetic of the present.”
I’ll end with something a bit more affordable, from a company called Schnadig, which is sold locally through Marlo Furniture (!) and Reincarnations on 14th Street. This cool console caught my eye. Happy Tuesday.

It is such an inspiration to attend the High Point Furniture Market and return with so many great ideas for client projects and perhaps our own ‘wish’ house folder. As I prepare to leave at the end of the week, I am looking forward to see what’s new this spring. Hope to see you there. Enjoyed this post
Loved this, Jennifer- thanks for sharing your favorite things!
Thanks for sharing, Jennifer! Love Random Harvest and really love those pops of orange. Orange and white look especially yummy next to the Benjamin Moore Clarksville Gray wall color in Random Harvest’s Alexandria showroom.
Jean, yum! Orange white and gray/ perfect combo. I can walk to my local Random Harvest here in Arlington…
I love those orange pillows….how fun. I think those and the melamine plates will be in my stash soon! I am not making it to High Point this year, too much going on unfortunately. Hope you are so we can get a recap! BTW, I mentioned your blog on mine today…passing on a little blog award.
Very cool post, I especially love the swanky wing chairs in the first photo, but the hot pink chaise lounge and that wall sconce with the drum shades, mmm, love! *Amy
Jennifer,
Love Global Views, just installed a beautiful shelf in a foyer of a client last week.
I want orange stuff in my life in the worst way too! So glad I stopped over…I am off to pout and obsess about all my “new” wants!
Love the French key, so chic! thanks for sharing.
The spring fabrics by Pierre Deux are so gorgeous as is the hot pink chaise lounge… What a beautiful selection! Thanks so much!
Global Views are one of my favorite companies. Modern, retro, art deco all mixed in an elegant way.
I know why you kept those press kits! There’s nothing more fun than seeing all the new stuff at market! Orange has become my new delight…the pillows are so fun, and I love it with the gray (which is surprising since gray and I have never been friends!) The lighting is so “today” and “tomorrow”…really classic.
Thanks for sharing your finds. I can’t wait to see some of it in person.
